Research & Development

As well as the service branch of the company, employees of StarSEQ take part in research and development projects in genomics and diagnostics. The goal here is to

1. developing of a minimally invasive approach to early detection and individualized molecular diagnostics of treatment-refractory glioblastoma using Illumina high throughput sequencing.

2. create a unique diagnostic system predicting the efficiency of different therapeutics for glioblastoma treatment of an individual patient.
3. development of a novel molecular genetic tool for the identification of food of marine origin by official food control agencies and import control.
4. develop a proprietary collection of novel genes which promise a relationship human illness or economic importance in animal and plant model organisms.
