Shipping regulations for countries outside the European Union:
Please ensure that the sender and recipient address are clearly visible on the outer packaging material. Always add the sample submission form or order form to the package. Samples should be sent in sufficient packaging material.
- Sanger sequencing: High-quality and well-sealing reaction tubes, strips or plates in padded envelops.
- gDNA or tissue in DNA/RNA Shield or similar for other services: High-quality and well-sealing reaction tubes, strips or plates sorted in cryo boxes or other suitable secondary containers, placed in strong outer packaging for courier delivery.
- RNA or tissue/cells for other services: High-quality and well-sealing reaction tubes, strips or plates sorted in cryo boxes or other suitable secondary containers, placed in styrofoam boxes containing dry ice for courier delivery. Try to send samples from Monday to Wednesday to give a day’s buffer in case of delays. Do not send chilled material on Friday or over the weekend.
Customs clearance is required for all samples from outside the European Union.
A commercial invoice or air waybill must accompany all international shipments. You are sending scientific material with no commercial value. The total value of the invoice should not exceed €5.00. You can use the text below:

Material / Item: Scientific samples (isolated plasmid DNA or PCR products or genomic DNA or RNA) for genetic analysis using Sanger or Illumina sequencing, with no commercial value, for research only, no goods for sale, the material is not zoonotic, the material is non-hazardous and not invasive.
The material does not contain any animal material products or by-products.
